Daphne Lawrence Award

Every year the treasurer presents the Daphne Lawrence Award for fundraising. This is given to the person who has made the greatest contribution during the previous year. This is not necessarily the person who raises the most money.

This year The Daphne Lawrence Cup has been jointly awarded to Peter & Jacki Blackburn. Peter & Jacki have done many collections last year including rattling collecting tins outside both Tesco stores. Every year they have a stall at the Hospital Radio Fun day and at the Band Contest both held in the Lower Castle Park. Peter also services the collection tins we have around the Colchester Area.

2006	Carol French	For all the car boots she does during the year and servicing the collection tin at Five Ways Store in Brightlingsea

2004	Gina Seaman	For organising a house to house collection in Elmstead
